Recently I was talking to a friend of mine about a certain life-changing decision she is about to make. She laid out the facts to me, after a pretty sober analysis of the facts she went on to tell me ... Read More

"I started speaking quite young, but I didn't realize it.
When I was around 7 or 8, my mother would force me to go
to church, while there I would be fascinated by the oratory
skills of some of the pastors. When I got back home,
I would arrange a congregation of my teddy bears and
my sister'sdolls and I would preach to them.
I don't know where those teddy bears are today, but I
bet you they are really inspired and successful teddy-bears
and/or spreading the gospel in teddy-bear world." -
"My first motivational talks were in front of the big mirror
in our dining room in the evenings. But my mom would shout,
"Muzi awuzwa ukuthi uyarasa, sifuna ukulala!!!"
(Muzi shut-up, you're making a noise, we want to sleep!!!)" -

"I have seen so many people give-up on something

I have also seen others consumed by their goal so much
that they end up compromising their values in order to
accelerate the process" -

they have. We must not sell influence without accountability.
To whom much is given, must is required"

"I once heard my friend Carol Mkize say, "What you plant in
one generation multiplies in the next." This is one of those
statements that scare me and excite me at the same time" -
"The truth is not meant to be a melody to your ears,
it's not supposed to make you feel good inside, NO! It must
shake you, sometimes rattle you...mould and build you...
not entertain you.
I have a problem with people who only want to hear
pleasurable things about themselves. They are spoilt
and they stunt their own growth." -
" In every talk I give, I believe in evoking the greatness
within and empowering people with principles."
